Cointreau Triple Sec
Cornerstone of more than 500 cocktails since 1849 it is an orange flavored triple sec liqueur made in Saint-Barthélemy-d’Anjou, France. It is consumed as an apéritif and digestif, consumed before or after meals. Cointreau is made with a mix of bitter and sweet oranges and distilled twice. It has a bright, crisp, and clean orange flavor and is not typically aged. The liqueur, which was created in the 1870s and became well-known after the World’s Fair of 1889, is made from sweet and bitter orange peels and alcohol from sugar.
