The Choya Single Year

A special blend of at least three different liqueur batches aged between 1 to 2 years. It has a crispy tartness with less sweetness than a regular ume liqueur. It uses the best quality 100% Nanko-ume fruit from Wakayama. Choya believes in adding no artificial additives like flavorings, colorings, or preservatives. The elegant, fragrant aroma of Nanko-Ume fruit fills your mouth. To be enjoyed chilled & straight, on-the-rocks, or mixed-in cocktails. The ingredients that are used are Ume, Sugar & Cane spirit.

The Choya Extra Years

Launched in 1991, this Umeshu is made from 100% premium Japanese Nanko-ume fruits from a famous ume region called Kishu in Japan. The Umeshu here is aged for extra years with special care and love. It is aged for at least 2-3 years. This liqueur is very versatile and so it can be used as a great cocktail base. Displays an initial rich sweetness with notes of almond & marzipan which are then elegantly balanced by natural vibrant acidity. The ingredients used are Ume fruit, Sugar & Cane Spirit.

The Choya Extra Shiso

Launched in 1998, this Umeshu is made from 100% premium Japanese Nanko-ume fruits from a famous ume region called Kishu in Japan. Extra Shiso is based on ‘Extra Years’ and flavored with shiso giving the drink its unique & special aroma, and soft pink color. It is aged for at least 2-3 years and uses the expensive Japanese red shiso leaves which gives it a pleasantly bitter & spicy, herbaceous notes. The ingredients used are Ume, Sugar, Cane Spirit, Perilla extract & Vegetable colouring.

The Choya Royal Honey

After having had success in the local Japanese market for more than three decades, Choya decided to expand overseas with a new Premium CHOYA called “Royal Honey”. Launched in 2002, this Umeshu is made from 100% premium Japanese Nanko-ume fruits from a famous ume region called Kishu in Japan, this Umeshu contains only 100% natural honey & royal jelly with no sugar added. The taste of mild sweetness & pleasant honey aroma followed by notes of almond & marzipan really gives a royal sensation of this liqueur. The ingredients used are Honey, Ume fruit, Cane Spirit & Royal Jelly.

This rich authentic yuzu liqueur is made by gently squeezing the whole ume fruit with the skin and quickly freezing the unpasteurized juice which retains the mellow and refreshing aroma of the freshly picked yuzu with less astringency from the skin. Contains 16% of highly aromatic yuzu juice from the Shikoku island in Japan. To be enjoyed chilled & straight, on-the-rocks, or mixed-in cocktails. The ingredients used are Ume, Yuzu, Sugar & Cane spirit.

The Choya Utage 5 Year Aged

CHOYA Utage is a true masterpiece among CHOYA range. Working together with local ume farmers to develop optimal soil and using 100% Japanese Nanko ume, this pure raw material ume fruit liqueur was aged for over 5 years in a dedicated tank. By aging for extra years, CHOYA Utage is able to obtain its rich flavors with elegant aroma and tartness that fills your mouth. To be enjoy chilled & straight or on-the-rocks. Additionally, CHOYA Utage comes in a custom-blown bottle and cap depicting ‘O’ from CHOYA logo, inspired by the shape of ume fruit. Its imposing forme and beautiful curve reminds you of the gentle taste of fully aged umeshu.
