Derek Benham, son of a passionate naturalist, Phyllis Benham; founded Raeburn Winery in honour of Phyllis with a mission to protect the thriving and diverse watersheds of the Russian River Valley she so loved and provide a safe habitat for grapes and creatures alike. As a further nod to Phyllis, the brand honours the graceful egret on the label, a common sight along local waterways.

Grape Variety/Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir

Appearance: Deep ruby

Aroma/Bouquet: Delivers aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries and red cherry capped with notes of spicy oak

Flavor Profile/Palate: It is ripe rich and velvety balanced by bright acidity

Time spent in aging: 11 months in 100% French oak barrels, 25% new oak
