Wine Selection

Villa Sandi

Mario Polegato, grandfather of the current president Giancarlo, bought some vineyards and entered the wine market in early 1920's. Passion grows, the company's roots become stronger, but just like the vineyard, you must wait several Bars before getting the first fruits.

In the 1980s, after a trip to the Champagne areas, Mario and Giancarlo decide to use the underground galleries discovered during the recovery of Villa Sandi's initial building to host the first bottles produced with the classic method. Success was immediate and it immediately became one of the most popular brands of the classic made in Italy.

Villa Sandi was the first company in the area to engage in the protection of biodiversity in agriculture, obtaining the Biodiversity Friend certificate. Villa Sandi is distinguished by its attention to environmental issues and is part of the Wine Research Team (WRT) project for vineyard research, Villa Sandi is a member of the Italian Signature Wines Academy (I SWA), an exclusive business network that aims to create synergies for the promotion of prestigious wines on the international scene.
